CONGRESS Scholarships
The Congress Organizing Committee has decided to make available a limited number of scholarships, covering only the registration fees, for:
- PhD students which are neither European citizens, nor graduate students at a US institution.
- Researchers who have completed their professional career and are now retired.
Scholarships for non-European citizens and non-US American graduate students
The Congress Organizing Committee has decided to make available a limited number of scholarships, covering only the registration fees, for PhD students which are neither European citizens, nor graduate students at a US institution. Travel and accommodation costs have to be sustained by the applicant. A number of low cost accommodations have been negotiated by the Congress organization and made available on the web site for reservation.
To apply for the scholarship, the PhD student must have submitted an abstract through the online submission procedure. The abstract will be processed through the standard acceptance procedure. After notification of acceptance of his/her abstract, the student has to:
- Fill in the application form,
specifying the title and identification number of his/her abstract and the type of scholarship for which he is applying (Congress Scholarship for Students in this case)
- Attach:
- An official proof of his/her student status (e.g. a letter from an officer of the Graduate School)
- A photocopy of his/her passport
- short CV (1 page max)
- E-mail it to :

Upon assignment of the scholarship, the student will be automatically registered to the congress. A notification of registration will be sent to him/her by the Congress Secretariat.
Scholarships for retired researchers
The Congress Organizing Committee has decided to make available a limited number of scholarships, covering the registration fee and the cost of the Congress Banquet, for researchers who have completed their professional career and are now retired. Travel and accommodation costs have to be sustained by the applicant.
To apply for the scholarship, the applicant must have submitted an abstract through the online submission procedure. The abstract will be processed through the standard acceptance procedure. After notification of acceptance of his/her abstract, the applicant has to:
- Fill in the application form,
specifying the title and identification number of his/her abstract and the type of scholarship for which he is applying (Congress Scholarship for Retired Researchers in this case)
- Attach:
- A photocopy of his/her passport
- short CV (2 pages max)
