The conference will be held at the Technische Universität München, inside the main campus, in the North Building.

The main campus of the Technische Universität München is situated close to Munich central railway station and benefits from good public transport connections. It takes approximately 40 minutes by rail from the airport to the central station using the S1 or S8 line.

The main campus is reachable by public transportation taking the Subway U2 (Station Theresienstraße), the Tram line 27 (Station Pinakotheken) or the Bus line 100 (Station Pinakotheken). The Conference can be reached either directly from the Theresienstraße or by entering the TUM through the main entrance.

If you intend to reach the North Building via the Main Entrance you should follow the “Membranes 2013” signs and the following directions:

The Main Entrance is located at Arcisstraße across from the AltePinakothek. After approaching the Entrance you have to cross the main foyer of the University towards the inner courtyard of the TUM. After exiting the foyer you turn right and simply walk straight towards the gate of the TUM. Cross the gate and the upcoming street “Theresienstraße” and you will stand right in front of the North Building.
