Introduction

The pre-conference COMPLAS Course 2021 is an ECCOMAS Advanced Course.

This is a course to be run in conjunction with the 16th International Conference on Computational Plasticity - COMPLAS 2021, to be held in Barcelona, Spain on 6 - 7 September 2021.

The pre-conference course will be of benefit to participants interested in acquiring a detailed and in-depth description of the application of finite element techniques to a range of plasticity problems; particularly those involving finite strains.

Attendance to the COMPLAS course can be either in in-person mode or in on-line mode. The course lectures will be streamed in synchronous fashion to on-line participants.

The course can be attended separately from the conference, but a reduced combined fee is available for participants in both events.
