This web site is dedicated to the 2nd. International Workshop of the Chemistry-Aerosol Mediterranean Experiment (ChArMEx) projet, an initiative to build a large coordinated international programme on atmospheric chemistry and its impacts in the Mediterranean region, identified as one of the most sensitive regions to climate change.

The workshop is open to the international scientific community interested by the Mediterranean atmospheric chemistry and its regional impacts. Following the first workshop held in Toulouse, France, in 2009 (http://charmex.lsce.ipsl.fr/) which welcomed 83 participants from 11 countries, the objective of this 2nd workshop is to present an update of the ChArMEx-related initiatives and to discuss and prepare international science and implementation plans.
